Taxback International is a global financial services company founded in 1996, that helps individuals and businesses with tax refunds, compliance, and other financial services through their software, "TBI Comply".

The platform automates various tax-related tasks and handles country-specific regulations, enabling businesses to stay compliant with ease. It also offers integrated payments technology for cross-border payments in local currencies. TBI Comply is a complex platform with advanced features such as big data management and unique automation capabilities, all of which require exceptional UI design to effectively deliver its full potential.

The platform at the time had no established design system in place, which greatly hindered the speed and efficiency of developing new features. My initial task was to address this issue by improving the overall design and development process. To achieve this, I aimed to create a design system from the ground up, which would not only enhance the user experience but also allow me to fully support the platform both in terms of design and front-end development, utilizing my previous experience with Angular libraries.
